MortgageGym has been named as a finalist for the What Mortgage Awards 2019! Voted for by consumers, we've made the final shortlist for Best Online Mortgage Broker. Now in its 26th year, the What Mortgage Awards is the stamp of approval recognising and rewarding the UK's best mortgage businesses.
The Awards have been running since 1993 and take place annually in the summertime. The awards are highly-regarded, a benchmark for the public and viewed as being completely independent and unbiased. They reward product and service providers and include categories such as best building society, best home insurance provider and best fixed rate mortgage.
The voting process for the awards is split into two phases. The first is the “call for nominations” which lasted for four weeks where people nominate the businesses with which they have had positive experiences for things like excellent customer service, competitive products, positive communication or just being treated fairly. The data is then collated to form a shortlist. MortgageGym has been highly voted for in the first phase and is now a finalist.
In the second part of the voting process, which lasts for 17 weeks, nominees are listed on the What Mortgage website where consumers vote for their winners from the shortlist and give a rating score out of 5.
